Detective Beginner

A black cat walks in the middle of a street with a broken streetlight. A man is driving a car with non-functioning headlights. Despite all of this, he manages to avoid harming the cat.

Michael is in prison. One day he has lunch, then goes to the prison yard for a while, and finally visits the library. At dusk, out of reach of security cameras, he changes his clothes. Then he leaves the prison through the door without being caught.

A man jumped from a plane. And he survived.

Tony ran out of the building with two bags. Another man chased him, brandishing a knife and shouting.

A woman enters a pet store to buy a parrot. The seller offers her one, saying it can repeat everything it hears. A few days later, the woman feels cheated and goes back to the store to get her money back. However, she returns home with the parrot, not the money.

A man was furious to learn that he could have heard better without using a hearing aid for the past 20 years. He went to his doctor to complain, but the specialist was even angrier than him.

Visitors to a scenic mountain village were often amused by the village idiot. When offered a choice between a shiny 50-cent coin and a crumpled $5 bill, he always happily chose the half dollar. Why didn't he choose the bill worth 10 times as much?
